how to flash nokia N900 using maemo flasher.

this is a step by step guide in flashing nokia N900 using maemo flasher.

1. first download and install the maemo flasher found here.

2. download also the flash file (.bin) found here.(images below)








3. put the flash file (.bin) to installation directory of maemo flasher (c:\Program Files\Maemo\flasher-3.5).
4.connect the phone in boot mode to pc.
here is how to connect the phone in boot mode to pc.

power off the phone. hold the "u" button on the keypad and connect usb to phone.
the pc will the detect the phone in boot mode.
if you see the nokia logo and a usb logo on the upper right side of phone,
the phone is in boot mode.

5. Open command prompt. (click Start, Run, type cmd)
6. type c:\Program Files\maemo\flasher-3.5
7. type flasher-3.5.exe -F RX-51_2009SE_3.2010.02-8.003_PR_COMBINED_003_ARM.bin -f -R
and press enter. (RX-51_2009SE_3.2010.02-8.003_PR_COMBINED_003_ARM.bin is the name of the flash file downloaded earlier)



8. then wait till finish.



9. this is the finished product after flashing.
